NZ based Designer Annika Rowson is known for her refined and well-balanced interior atmospheres. Carefully mastering textures, materials and light, Annika creates memorable spaces that evoke emotions. This time we are visiting her showroom, and the result is no different.
The generous stud height of 4.8m sets the disposition of the elegance that defines the kitchen. Entering the space, the visitor is experiencing a serene yet warm atmosphere, the space is calm and intriguing and as always with Rowson’s designs; we are served an astonishing spatial experience. Marble concrete floors offer a neutral base and allow the rich palate of Smoked Oak Veneer to flourish. Complimented by the Travertine finger tiled splash back and balanced by the creamy Corian island in Cirrus White.
The island, which acts as a centre piece, is cleverly constructed out of reversed Corian to achieve a marble like effect, curved & hand fluted to create the striking texture. Smoked Bronze CLOSET BARS fit harmoniously both to the colour- and texture pallet, while simultaneously contributing to the vertical emphasis of the room. The result is a harmonious space, radiating a sophisticated European aesthetic – a combination of a Cigar/Parisian wine bar with creamy neutrals & rich tones.
